Drupa, the largest printing equipment exhibition in the world, is back in action after an 8-year hiatus due to COVID. Leaders from the global printing industry will meet in Düsseldorf, Germany, from May 28 to June 7, 2024, to share ideas and further innovation under the drupa theme “We create the future.”
Gelato’s CEO and founder, Henrik Müller-Hansen, has been selected for a keynote in a session entitled, “What Gen Z and the Creator Economy Means for Printing.” The talk is scheduled for May 31 at 10:45am in the drupa cube.
Henrik’s presentation will highlight the industry's massive opportunity in the digital age. The rise of ecommerce, coupled with Gen Z and Millennial consumer preferences, push personalization, mobilization, and sustainability to the forefront. Henrik will break down what these trends and the rise in the creator economy mean for the global print industry. He’ll also discuss Gelato's role in accelerating the transition from centralized mass production to local, on-demand production and global expansion through partnerships and software. All to create a smarter, faster, and greener future for production.
In alignment with drupa’s theme, “We create the future,” Gelato will launch its anticipated software GelatoConnect, a production platform that connects procurement, workflow, and logistics to optimize printers’ efficiency, quality, and profitability.
To learn more, attendees can visit Gelato’s booth (#A06 across hall 9.0) and interact with GelatoConnect.
