What you will be doing

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Junior Recruiter to join our growing People Acquisition team. You will play a crucial role in our growth and success, by attracting and identifying the best talent for our open positions around the world. We currently have offices in 11 countries and your role will involve sourcing and guiding candidates throughout the entire recruitment process, ensuring all candidates understand our culture and want to be a part of our journey and establishing Gelato as an amazing company to work for.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside a highly talented People Acquisition and HR team, as well as the wider organization as you engage with different stakeholders.

As a junior recruiter, you will:

  • Work alongside the team to successfully execute the ambitious hiring roadmap
  • Work internationally with colleagues, recruitment partners, and candidates
  • Help create compelling job descriptions and advertise them on appropriate channels/job boards
  • Build strong talent pipelines, execute sourcing campaigns and engage with talent throughout the entire recruitment process
  • Screen all applications received, and follow their progress
  • Be creative and take initiative in attracting the best talent through new avenues
  • Manage relationships both with candidates and internal hiring managers
  • Create an engaging and memorable candidate experience
  • Support on important projects that benefit the wider business

Who you are

In order to be successful in this role, you will need a start-up mentality. You are committed to excel with energy and endurance while understanding that building a company is hard, but satisfying work. You know the importance of understanding the business needs and ensuring a great candidate experience from the time the candidate enters the recruitment process and all the way to onboarding.

You have incredible stamina, resilience, and grit. You are a doer, who changes until winning. You feel comfortable being very operationally while never losing sight of long-term ambition.

We are looking for the following candidates:

  • 1-2 years of experience working in a candidate facing recruitment role
  • Interest and experience in technology ideally working within a technical recruitment environment
  • Comfortable sourcing candidates based all across the globe- international recruitment experience is preferred
  • Ability to prioritize workloads, multi-task, and manage multiple relationships
  • Superb English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High level of integrity
  • Self-starter, able to work autonomously and succeed through personal drive
