Gelato consists of three different business units:
Optimalprint - our B2C e-commerce business, offering beautiful high-quality personalized products to consumers all over the world. The products are produced on-demand by Gelato’s local production network.
GelatoCreate - giving creators across the world instant access to a global market of customers. Simple integrations to webshops such as Shopify, Etsy and TikTok allow creators to connect and personalize their designs for a wide range of quality products, and Gelato takes care of the production and fulfillment through our local production.
GelatoConnect - the backbone of Gelato is enterprise software that powers the world's most advanced production on demand facilities, providing unmatched production workflow, logistics and procurement efficiency, quality management and cost savings.
What we are looking for
We are seeking analytics professionals with a passion for business impact to join our world class Finance & Strategy team. As a Data Analyst, you will help build strategic reports for investor and leadership teams and carry out analysis that will inform important financial and strategic decisions for Gelato. You will guide the finance team using data and insights by not simply presenting data, but telling data-driven stories. You will convince and influence your finance and strategy team members using clear insights and recommendations.
The position is based in Gelato’s offices in London (UK), Oslo (Norway), Stockholm (Sweden), and Madrid (Spain)
What you will be doing
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of metrics, reports and dashboards to drive key business performance visibility for finance and strategy teams.
- Identify trends & patterns using internal and external data sources powered with analytic models to provide actionable insights to business decision-makers.
- Generate forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans necessary to drive and influence business decision-making.
- Share your knowledge and build creative solutions while helping the team evolve best practices.
Who you are
- 4 years+ of data analytics experience.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and integrity in all your analyses
- Good time management. You can handle multiple tasks, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Collaborative. You work well in a team environment, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills. You keep all stakeholders informed and manage expectations effectively.
- Extensive hands-on experience in SQL.
- Experience with data visualization and BI tools like Looker/Tableau/PowerBI.
- Good knowledge of statistical analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with finance data or in finance related roles.
- Advanced experience with Looker.
- Experience in management consulting would be a plus.
