What you will be doing
Gelato sits at the intersection of some of today’s most important trends: the continued rise and embrace of the creator economy, global supply chains, and e-commerce, and building toward a more sustainable future. These trends are having an impact on how Printers can cost effectively scale their businesses and with GelatoConnect our goal is to provide them with an end to end production platform that helps them take on these global macro trends to profitably scale their operations.
As a Business Develop Representative in GelatoConnect, you will have the critical task of being one of the first touchpoints for these prospective customers. You will follow up on inbound Marketing Qualified Leads and drive targeted outbound campaigns to Ideal Customer Profile target accounts. This is an excellent opportunity to be a founding member of a sales organization as we bring GelatoConnect to market. In the Business Development Representative Role, you will:
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities
- Evangelize Industry trends to prospects helping them see the need for GelatoConnect
- Build and nurture a robust pipeline of prospects and when they are ready to engage get them introduced to an account executive to evaluate GelatoConnect
- Work closely with Marketing, Partnerships, and Network to identify areas to build pipeline
- Keep our CRM up to date helping us understand data driven trends to improve

- 1+ year of sales experience, preferably in B2B Cloud, AI, or SaaS.
- Experience working with printers is a plus.
- Thrives in a high growth, entrepreneurial, and ambiguous environment
- Familiarity with leading CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
