The position

A Shopify Product Owner to drive impactful projects that enhance our customer journey on our Shopify platform. This role needs a customer-centric vision, a strong eye for data-based decision-making, and a strong project management background to effectively coordinate with both internal teams and external partners to achieve our goals and make our Shopify site truly world-class.

What you'll be doing

  • Own our Shopify experience End to End: The strategic leader for developing our Shopify platform across all areas.
  • Enhance Customer Experience on Shopify: Lead initiatives to improve the customer journey on our Shopify platform. Identify and implement features and optimizations that streamline the shopping experience, improve conversion, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Project Management: Act as the leader across various internal and external development teams to deliver projects and improvements on time that are measurable in their output
  • Platform Development and Integration: Be at the forefront of Global Shopify platform developments. Oversee the development and integration of new features, tools, and apps within Shopify. Ensure that each enhancement aligns with the brand’s customer experience vision and contributes to our growth goals.
  • AI - Utilise AI based solutions both onsite and in your working practices for ultimate efficiency and to deliver more with less.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Leverage data insights to make informed decisions about feature development and customer experience improvements. Use A/B testing and user research to evaluate project impact and prioritize further enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Alignment and Communication: Regularly update all stakeholders on project status, timelines, and key outcomes. Facilitate smooth communication and collaboration between teams to drive projects forward efficiently.

Who you are

You are a customer-focused product manager with a strong track record in project management. You’re analytical, organized, and comfortable navigating the complexities of cross-functional initiatives. Your experience with Shopify and commitment to building best-in-class e-commerce experiences make you an ideal fit for this role. You are at the forefront of the technological developments in the Ecommerce space and able to engage with development teams to set a clear vision based on customer needs.

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in product management within e-commerce, with hands-on experience on the Shopify platform.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable project improvements.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and collaboration software, such as Asana, Trello, or Slack.
  • A desire to learn and utilise AI based tools as a way to increase both output and quality of your work.
  • An adaptable team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Leadership Experience, including managing contributors and leading an organisation towards an aligned vision.
