These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the Automated Rewards Program (“Program”) offered by Gelato. By participating, you agree to these Terms, which supplement the Gelato Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined herein have the meanings ascribed to them in the Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict, the Terms of Service shall prevail.
1. Eligibility
This Program is open to all new and existing Gelato merchants (“Eligible Customers”) who:
Have at least 20 orders during the all-time product spend with Gelato, and
Your store revenue is predominantly coming from:
Markets (11): United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Australia, and Canada; and
Product Categories (4): Wall Art, Photo Books, Calendars and Cards.
Exclusions:
Platinum customers and merchants enrolled in other credit promotions are excluded.
Revenue generated from product discounts for Plus/Gold subscriptions, revenue already accounted for in another Gelato’s promotion or rebate program, credits won during this promotion, and sales outside of the list of products and markets outlined above, will not count toward Program eligibility.
2. Program Period
Go-Live Date: March 24th, 2025
First Payout: Starting April 1st, 2025
3. Reward Details
Eligible Revenue:
Calculated as all-time product spend (excluding shipping costs and taxes, and for Plus/Gold subscribers, calculation shall be based on post-discount amounts) within the above designated category products (4) and markets (11).
Reward Tiers:
Tier 1: Revenue > 500€ → 100€ top-up
Tier 2: Revenue > 5,000€ → 1,000€ top-up
Tier 3: Revenue > 20,000€ → 4,000€ top-up
Note: All reward amounts are determined in euros. Revenue in other currencies will be translated into euros based on our foreign exchange calculation.
Activation & Distribution:
Once a revenue threshold is crossed, the corresponding reward is activated on the first day of the following calendar month. Credits will be distributed in equal daily instalments over a 90-day period upon the activation.
Only the highest applicable tier will be granted within each 30-day evaluation cycle.
If a customer progresses through multiple tiers over time, they will be entitled to receive rewards from each tier they have achieved, with each reward activating separately as its threshold is met. However, if a customer qualifies for a higher tier from the outset, they will receive credits only for that tier and not for any lower tiers.
Rebates are activated once per month. Revenue is assessed on a monthly basis and cannot be carried forward.
4. Application of Credits
Rewards will be issued as Gelato wallet credits (“Credits”) that can only be applied toward your future product spend at Gelato. Such Credits cannot be used for non-product costs (e.g. shipping costs, taxes, etc). All Credits must be used within 90 days of issuance, after which they will expire.
5. Limitations and Exclusions
Credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Product spend already accounted for in another Gelato’s promotion or rebate program may not be used to generate Credits under this program.
Customers are responsible for any tax liabilities arising from the receipt or use of Credits.
Gelato reserves the right to determine eligibility and adjust, suspend, or terminate the Program, including the adjustment, reclamation, or cancellation of Credits for transactions that are later found to be ineligible, fraudulent, disputed, or subject to chargeback.
If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
By participating in this Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
